Week of cultural heritage

In the Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik, we prepared events in the cultural heritage week, with which we join the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.
This year’s theme is Our Heritage: where the past meets the future. Cultural heritage is the legacy of ourselves and of our ancestors. It is a part of tradition, knowledge, material cultural heritage. It is the tradition and the wealth that was entrusted to us to protect, preserve and mediate.

On this occasion, we invite you to a museum evening (September 26), where Mija Ogrin will present us the Archeological Heritage of Highlands; On Saturday September 29 will be a public guide to the Onger Learning Path in Trzin, which will be led by the geographer Maja Brozovič and the archeologist Janja Železnikar; On Wednesday, October 3, we invite you to the Marathon of Industrial Heritage, where everything will be from an explosive workshop, public guide through Industrial Heritage in Kamnik to film projections and conversation. We will be led by Marko Kumer and Goran Završnik (KD Priden možic).
