Watch bridge, 19th century
The “Watch bridge” (Uhrbrucke) is a supporting element in the mechanical mechanism of the watch, which is screwed to the plate on both sides. The museum keeps in Sadnikar’s collection 40 hour bridges, brass, which are richly and variously ornamented. Cap or the bridge protects the turbulence from external shocks so that it works smoothly. The turmoil is the oscillating wheel of the watch, the heart of the watch oscillating (tik-taka) by means of a thin spiral.
