Jožefa Humar - Debevčeva Zefa, shepherdess and carver

From today, February 29th 2024, a guest exhibition about Jožefa Humar – Debevčeva Zefa, by Andreja Humar Gruden, is on on display.

The exhibition, book and film about the shepherdess from Gojška planina, carver and versatile artist, was presented to the public for the first time in the exhibition area above the Veronika cafe, in November 2022.

This time we are hosting it in the Zaprice Castle. Zefa’s life, written word and products are presented at the exhibition. Some of them are also in our museum and are part of Kopač’s Velikoplanina legacy.

The ceremonial opening of the exhibition with the screening of a film about Jožefa Humar and the presentation of a book about her will be held,

on Wednesday, March 20th 2024, at 6 p.m. at Zaprice Castle.
