The Treasures of Croatian clothing and intangible heritage

The Kamnik Tourism, Sport and Culture Agency, as an accompanying exhibition on the 48th folklore festival Days of National Costums and Clothing Heritage, organized an exhibition entitled The Treasures of Croatian Clothing and Intangible Heritage. In the Year of European Cultural Heritage, the exhibition will show the most valuable examples of costumes from the collections of the Folklore Ensemble Zagreb-Markovac and Posudionica i radionice narodnih nošnji.

The red thread of this time exhibition, which unites two different, but similar, organizations, is protected by the intangible heritage of Croatia. At the exhibition, the protected intangible cultural heritage of Croatia will be presented in an indirect or direct connection with exhibits, which are selected to display the clothing heritage of Croatia in its four regions (Pannonian, Alpine, Dinaric and Adriatic).

The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 6 pm during the folklore festival Days of National Costums and Clothing Heritage from 7 to 9 September. The tour will be free at this time.
