Tadej Pogačar Behind the Big Stage

The exhibition about Tadej Pogačar, the leading cyclist in the world cycling rankings, a global star who hails from Klanac pri Komenda, talks about his journey and sports activities behind the big stage. What made him happy, what he did before he became a professional cyclist and how he is accepted and seen by his compatriots today after his many outstanding successes and achievements.

All through the lens and text of Tadej’s fellow countryman, photographer France Stele, under the auspices of the Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik.

The photographer’s view and the text reveal that Tadeje Pogačar was a scout in his early years, that he also tried ski jumping and football. France Stele accompanied him on the Komenda races and, of course, on the magnificent receptions that his compatriots prepared for him due to his numerous successes. The exhibition reveals something more about Tadej, different – “hidden” part of him, and shows the background from which he grew into a giant of world cycling.
