- Miha Maleš Gallery: Ferdo Mayer – The language of colour
Curator Saša Bučan.
Ferdo Mayer: “… Colour means more to me than composition. Colour has to say what I see, feel and want. Let it characterize not only the exterior, but emotion, thought, longing, joy and sorrow, evil and good. These are completely individual colours of individual characters. Every person has their own colours, which may mark them more than anything else. “
- Gallery View: Petja Kolenko – Recycled
Curator Saša Bučan.
Saša Bučan: “As in everyday life, Petja Kolenko also has a tendency to reuse, recycle various waste materials and used works of art in her artistic expression and choice of art techniques. He processes these in various techniques, most often using collage techniques. In recent years, he has been intensively involved in the recycling of waste plastics … He draws ideas for the motives of his works from the lyrics of popular songs, the content of which he translates as a literal illustration or depicts according to personal experience. ”
