Public guidance after the Good News exhibition

You are cordially invited to the public guidance after the exhibition of the art project Good News,

on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 7 p.m. in the Miha Maleš Gallery in Kamnik.

The curator of the exhibition in the Miha Maleš gallery, Saša Bučan, will be in charge.

The town of Kamnik and the botanical garden Arboretum Volčji Potok will be hosting an exhibition of as many as 25 local and foreign artists from mid-March 2024, who are presenting themselves as part of the joint Good News project. We invite you to take part in the public management of the project, which is taking place in the center of the city of Kamnik. Through the project exhibited in the Miha Maleš Gallery, we will continue our journey to the exhibition spaces of the Dika Gallery and the Prečna Gallery.

“…The Good News art project seeks to find and reverse the direction of the tireless decline of society and shed light on the importance of its transformation, where each individual would once again play his role and displace the social apathy that eats into every pore of a person. The artists who joined in this project come from different parts of the world, each with their own poetics within their artistic confession, but with a common issue that concerns man, his mindless encroachment on nature, his exploitation of it and care for a better and a better tomorrow and the awareness that new individuals are coming after us who will still need this world – not only today or in the next hundred years – our planet must be spinning in the right direction for a long time after us.”
