Slovenian museums have been participating in the Forward to the Past campaign for two years now, organized by the Community of Museums of Slovenia and the Service for Movable Heritage and Museums. It takes place twice a year, in spring and winter, in a digital environment and draws attention to the richness of our museums and the fact that museums are interesting, fun and safe places to learn and have fun.

As the holiday season is approaching again, we have appropriately titled the winter campaign Happy Museum. The campaign will take place between December 6 and 12, 2021 online and on social networks, where you are looking for the keywords #naprejvpreteklost and #veselimuzej. You will find a variety of stories, recordings, videos, interviews, workshops and more.

In the Intermunicipal museum Kamnik we will prepare two interesting short stories from Kamnik’s past and art on our website https://www.muzej-kamnik-on.net/, FB https://www.facebook.com/muzej.kamnik/ and Instagram https://www.instagram.com/muzejkamnik/:

• on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 9 am, interesting stories about the celebration of Santa Claus in Kamnik companies by Marko Kumer and Tanja Drofenik Čalić
• on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 10 am, two winter motifs by Kamnik artists will be presented – Ferdo Mayer, Poplars in Kamnik and Miha Maleš, Winter Tivoli, by Saša Bučan
