Kamfest 2024 in the Intermunicipal museum Kamnik
This year, from August 9 to 17, 2024, the streets of Kamnik, for the twenty-first time in a row, will be occupied by one of the major Slovenian city festivals – KAMFEST, organized by the Cultural Association Priden možic with co-producers.
More than 60 events will take place in at least eight venues around the center of Kamnik and its immediate surroundings. In addition to the concerts in the city, there is also an interesting film program, and this year’s novelty is the venue in the Maister’s birthplace. The Children’s Stage is moving to the Creative Quarter of Barutana, where it will be joined by evening events on the Barutana Stage and various afternoon activities, all of which will be family and youth oriented. Cinema performances will be shown in the atrium of the Mekinje Monastery. This year, the Kamnik Intermunicipal Museum is also participating as a co-organizer.
And visitors can get to all of this by train – get off at the one of the four Kamnik stations that is closest to the venue they have chosen.
The complete program of Kamfest 2024 is on the website https://www.kamfest.org/en
