Patricija Crnkovič and Teja Poljanšek invite you to

INTERMEDIATE RITE,

author’s dance-music performance,

on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 6 p.m., at Zaprice Castle in Kamnik.

The intermediate rite is a dance-music performance that explores inner transformation as a result of establishing contact with nature.

Due to urban influences, the performers exhaust all human potential, making transformation and liberation the only goal. Through the ritual, they distance themselves from the ballast with which the capitalist system restricts us and leave the meaningless patterns according to which we act as slaves to foreign beliefs and rules.

With deep contact with nature, in the inner silence, new paths of authenticity slowly open up and, with the help of natural materials, they establish new foundations on which they can live more peacefully and deeply. Music and dance intertwine in support of a new awakening and help the performers find meaning in transience and detachment.

For the author, this is the first joint collaboration that arose as a result of her studies at the Codarts Art Academy in Rotterdam.
