in the UGM Kabinet exhibition center, Strossmayerjeva ulica 6, Maribor.

In collaboration with the Kamnik Intermunicipal Museum – Miha Maleš Gallery, on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11 a.m., we are opening the exhibition Ferdo Mayer/ Artist, written in color. It is a selection of works by the painter Ferdo Mayer (1927–1994), who spent his first 27 years in Maribor, where he was born. He first presented himself in his hometown as a high school student in 1941, and then had a solo exhibition in 1954. This was also the year he moved to Kamnik for work. The exhibition presents a selection of works from his rich oeuvre.

The exhibition was also created in collaboration with the Mayer family.

The exhibition will be on view from January 25 to February 27, 2025.
