Maister evening: dr. Aleš Maver: Military commanders in the revolutionary times of Central Europe – Horthy, Piłsudski, Štefánik.
The lecturer focuses on the key military and political figures who had a significant influence on shaping the history of Central Europe in the period after World War I. Each of them influenced the direction of their respective countries, even though their goals, ideologies, and influence developed in different ways. Figures like Horthy, Piłsudski, and Štefánik were not only important military leaders but also political figures interwoven with the historical development of their nations.

Gallery evening: dr. Vesna Krmelj: Correspondence between Izidor Cankar and France Stele
She will present the correspondence between two key figures of the Vienna art history school in the Slovenian context – France Stele and Izidor Cankar. The correspondence traces their exchange from the beginning of their studies to the end of 1913, focusing on Stele’s editorial and public activities in the period before World War I.
