Museum evening: dr. Julijana Visočnik – Roman tombstones from Kamnik and its surroundings
So far, three Roman tombstones from Kamnik are known. Two are built into the chapel of St. Koloman in Mekinje, one is kept in the Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik. Numerous data on the inhabitants of Kamnik and its surroundings, on their names and professions are written on the tombstones.

Presentation of the proceedings Carinthian Plebiscite – 100 years later
Published by Slovenska matica and the Institute for Ethnic Issues.
Presentation of the proceedings in cooperation with the General Maister Kamnik Society.
The scientific monograph with contributions by Slovenian and Austrian authors and one Hungarian one sheds light on the events of 100 years ago during the Carinthian plebiscite, but also intervenes later. It touches on the mythologizing of events, the culture of remembrance and scientific discussions on the plebiscite, all the way to the reflection on the events marking the 100th anniversary of the 2020 plebiscite in Carinthia.

Painting – national costumes in the works of Miha Maleš

Hosting the exhibition with Maleš’s depictions of Macedonian national costumes. Prior to that, Maleš’s world was mainly in black and white expression in graphics, but in the Macedonian cycle he proved to be an extremely well-known colourist, where colouring even prevails over such a characteristic line.

Review exhibition of Slovenian graphic artist and painter Božidar Jakac (1899-1989). Božidar Jakac was a student in Prague, as was his younger colleague Miha Maleš. Both were our first trained, professional graphic artists who mastered virtually all graphic techniques.
