Borut Križ: Negau helmet from Novo Mesto

The series of lectures The Secret Path of Negau Helmets is started by dr. Borut Križ from the Dolenjski muzej Novo mesto. At the lecture, he will remove another veil of mystery from the unusual paths traveled by the helmet from Novo mesto. He will give us some more juicy details about the disappearance of the helmet and other archaeological objects “in the heist of the century”, in 1975.

Gregor Žorž: Rapallo border 1920

After the First World War, Italy temporarily acquired a third of the Slovenian ethnic territory (Primorska) with the Treaty of Rapallo. The Rapallo border was between the Kingdom of Italy and the Kingdom of SHS, it was determined by the agreement of the superpowers in 1920 in the Italian city of Rapallo. Gregor Žorž from the Rapallo Border Historical Association will give a lecture on the reasons for such a decision by the Entente countries and about the cultural and historical remains of the Rapallo border at the Maister’s evening in April in the Maister’s birthplace.

Study club Once upon a time there was in Kamnik

The Study club Once upon a time in Kamnik has been operating since October 2022. At the meetings, the participants present various topics from the 60s of the 20th century, which will be an integral part of the museum exhibition. Lots of interesting stories and pleasant company.

Matic Zupan: Negau helmet from Kopa above Kompolje

Matic Zupan is a young researcher at the National Museum of Slovenia. In the lecture, he will show how archaeologists, like detectives, after 200 years, quickly pieced together the story of the helmet that adorned Cerar’s well in Lukovica for several decades.
