The Mysterious Paths of Negau type Helmets

The Dolenjski muzej Novo mesto, the Medobčinski muzej Kamnik and the National Museum of Slovenia have jointly prepared an archaeological exhibition,

where we present and discover the mysterious stories of three similar helmets from the 5th-4th centuries BC.

They were found in three different environments: one in Vrhpolje near Kamnik, the second in Kopa nad Kompolje and the third in Kandia in Novi mesto.

Find out what and how they traveled around Europe or around Slovenia and how they came back to our collections and more at the exhibition.
