Miha Erič is clearly one of the most prominent representatives of Slovenian new generation graphics. In the Gallery View, he will present his recent works in the woodworking technique entitled Views.

7.30 pm – The main square: Duo Aritmija & Miha Erič

Music of the world

The guitarist, Tilen Stepišnik and Šemsudin Dino Džopa, together create energy, breadth and compactness. This is based on their close musical cooperation, while the arrangements rely on only two guitars. In their music, the elements of rock, jazz, classical music and flamenco intertwine, and rhythmically they rely on the tradition of Balkan folk music.

The scene of the event is the Main Square.

7 pm – Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik: opening of the exhibition Oliver Pilić: S.A.L.I.G.I.A.

Coping with Valvasor: Oliver Pilić

Pilić’s multipurpose installation S.A.L.I.G.I.A. is primarily concerned with identity, morality and content or (non) content characteristics of the individual and its placement in the metaphorical and physical space. In this work, he is interested in the interweaving of modernity and history, and the opening of spaces for interpretation, as well as the placement in the context of contemporary art.

7.30 pm – lapidarium of the castle Zaprice: Irena S. Tomažin: Another Crying Game, solo performance

Irena S. Tomažin performs in dance and theater performances and vocal performances and concerts of experimental improvised music. Under the museum arcades will present a solo voice and voice recorder called iT, which created the Another Crying game panel.

8.30 pm – meadow at the Castle Zaprice: summer observation of the night sky

RAK – The research astronomical society of the Gymnasium and High School Rudolf Maister Kamnik together with Kamnik’s astronomers invites you to observe the night sky for the summer. In addition to the rather “thick” Moon, we will be able to observe Jupiter with its four largest moons and Saturn, which always excites observers with its “rings”.

5 pm – Rudolf Maister’s birth house: Rudolf’s mustache hovers a horse

Pottery Studio of Mojca Žalik and the Rudolf Maister’s Birth House invite you to a workshop with clay Rudolf’s mustache and saber a horse. The participants will first visit Maister’s birth house. Then you will pick it up in the pottery studio. So, you will not forget what the general and the sword had the general, and on what kind of horse he was riding when he commanded.

Under the scrutiny of time: Saša Bučan with Dušan Sterle

The exhibition of works by Dušan Sterle returns the artist to Kamnik. Sterle’s artistic path is a kind of business card, a chronicle of society and an individual, a gift of nature, and a strictly artistic technical skill, constant wandering, enthusiasm for experimentation and constant unwillingness to record their own and wider social life. This time, after the exhibition, the curator of the exhibition Saša Bučan and artist Dušan Sterle will take you to the exhibition.

4pm- The path of gunpowder and comradeship

The last Kamnik’s proletarians, Marko Kumer and Goran Završnik, the first as a professional from the Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik and the other, obsessed with industrial and performer, return to Kamfest with a guided tour of interesting remnants and memories of the Kamnik’s industry.

A guided tour will begin at the Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik.

Entrance fee: 15 € / person.

The Museum – the Castle Zaprice will be open from 10am to 6pm at the time of Kamfest (on Sunday and the holiday will be closed), on Monday, August 12th, it will be open between 7 pm to 9 pm. The Gallery Miha Maleš and the Gallery View are open every day from 5 pm to 8 pm every day (also on Sunday, Monday and on a holiday). Entrance to the gallery will be free.
