From the Rudolf Maister's Birthplace to the Kamnik Military Museum

This time Maister’s evening will take place as a mix of theory and a short walk from one museum to another related to the period of wars and a little while after it. We will begin with the general’s birth house with the guidance of the occasional exhibition First War from private collections in Kamnik, led by Alenka Juvan.
Then we will go through the town to the Military Museum, which is home to the main bus station in Kamnik. In the former territorial defense warehouse, private collectors, members of the Cultural and Historical Society Triglav, formed an occasionally accessible installation from objects, documents, photographs and various materials from their private collections related to the period of the first and second world wars. Following the museum, the visitors will be led by Jernej Brajer, president of the Society, who also participated in the event from his collection at the occasional exhibition in Maister’s birth house.
In any case, a short walk around the city and exhibitions promises an interesting evening.
