Miha Maleš - poetic painter

Miha Maleš is a great name in Slovenian art. He was one of the most important figures in Slovenian artistic life and besides his various artistic activities he is marked also by another side to his character. 

He was a great collector of works of art, initiator and leader of the artistic group the Fourth Generation, artistic organiser and a journalist. As can be seen in his work, he was a very sensitive person and he knew how to join all these artistic fields of activity harmoniously. The Miha Maleš Gallery permanent collection comprises his works of art and documentary photos.
