Andrej Perko - Passing

From January 31 to March 16, 2025, in the Small Hall of the Dolenjski muzej Novo mesto, you can see an exhibition of photographs by Andrej Perko, created in cooperation with the Dolenjski muzej Novo mesto and the Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik – Miha Maleš Gallery. The curator of the exhibition is Saša Bučan.

Andrej Perko was born in 1946 in Ljubljana, finished high school in Novo mesto, graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana and later studied at the Ljubljana Pedagogical Academy – fine arts department. In the years 1968-71, he was a member of the ŠOLT Photo Group, and later he also received his art education at numerous workshops under the mentorship of Herman Pivko, Duba Sambolec, Dušan Fišer and others.
